Yes, it’s a dive bar, but it’s also New Orleans

Dress for success, a mess, and to be blessed.

New Orleans is known for being a celebratory place filled with decorations, generous gifts, and most of all: FLAMBOYANT COSTUMES.

While most places start to cool off, September in New Orleans is still quite warm (highs in the 80s and lows in the 70s). Be prepared to want to take something off. Light layers are recommended.

With the potholes, cobblestone moments, broken sidewalks, errant tree roots, and unending construction you are sure to encounter, it is recommended that you wear shoes you are comfortable in.

Wear shoes you trust.

Shoes you believe in.

They may be heels, they may be flats, they may be espadrilles, but make sure they will be your right-hand man.

That all being said, we encourage a formal dress code with an irreverent, carnival energy. The more sequins, feathers, chiffon, and hairspray, the more appreciation you’ll get from the brides…and who doesn’t want that?
